"Bill Moyer has spent more than 40 years as a full-time theorist, writer,

organizer, consultant, educator and participant in social movements. The

originator of the MAP model, Moyer was staff for Martin Luther King's SCLC

and the American Friends Service Committee, and a founder of the Movement

For a New Society & training center (Philadelphia 1971-1982). He has given

training courses and workshops to over 20,000 people in eastern and western

Europe, the United States, Canada and Australia.

JoAnn McAllister is a social activist, researcher and consultant to

community-based organizations and active in social movements for 25 years.

Mary Lou Finley is a sociologist at Antioch University-Seattle, and a

long-time activist..

Steven Soifer has been involved in local, national and international social

movements and teaches social work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore
